Created in 2006 as a cover photo for a Duran Duran DVD competition. The cubes are of course not real Uranium but the mineral pyrite brought as a souvenir from a school trip when I was a teenager. I have always been fascinated by it's dark and mysterious shiny surface, so if you would have asked me as a teenager what Uranium looks like I would have described Pyrite... of course I still don't know exactly what Uranium looks like today!
